Steven Wilson - Grace For Drowning (2011 - ALAC)

I couldn't help to write my first post about one of my favourites, one of the biggest music genius in the last decades: Steven Wilson. Here you have his last solo project, a major masterpiece called Grace for Drowning. As I bought the deluxe edition, I include here the bonus cd which features demos + out-takes. Highly recommended. An album that will last forever.

For all prog lovers, note that this is the second part of a prog rock trilogy, started with Opeth's Heritage album. The final record will be the result of the long awaited collaboration between Wilson and Mikeal Aferfeldt, Opeth's soulman. The project will be named 'Storm Corrosion', and the self-titled album will come out on April 2012 (more info here). Two of my favourite songwriters together. I'll post this album as soon as I have it in my hands.
